what is the outcome

As I sit here today and ponder on my devos this week, one thing that comes to mind is my definition of the term "worship-bowing all that we are before all that God is". I know what it is and what it means and even multiple illustrations of it in the bible, but the question that is rolling through my head is, how does worship affect the way I live? How does it affect the way you run this obstacle course? What do you think?

Worship is a lifestyle, so obviously it should be making an impact on how we live our lives. So many people have it in their heads that worship is something that can only be done during music, and after the music stops, so does worship. But God created us to worship Him, so obviously it's not limited to being done during music...that's just one way to worship. We're so focused on ourselves all the time and only a small portion of our lives are put aside for God..we need to make time and give God glory for the many things He's done in our lives, and we need to find ways to worship Him all throughout our day, whatever we're doing, not just when we go to church.

If we are truly worshipping Christ (in spirit and in truth), then everything we do will be pointing others to Christ. Everything we do will become worship. The expressions on our faces, the words of our mouths, the intentions of our actions, the reason we do everything we do. A somewhat overused phrase still holds true today; we should worship Christ with our time, talents, and treasure. So what is the next thing on your to-do list today? How can you worship Christ through it?
